
Dr. Mari Asper is double board certified in General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. She received her medical degree from the University of Iowa and completed General Psychiatry Residency followed by specialized training during a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, both at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC. She had the honor of being selected for Chief Fellow during her final year of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship.
In addition to her work at Tricounty Behavioral Health, Dr. Asper serves as adjunct faculty for MUSC Department of Psychiatry, is as a psychiatric consultant for Pinelands Group Homes, and volunteers at Harvest Free Medical Clinic.
Dr. Asper enjoys working with patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. She develops a comprehensive treatment plan for each patient based on their individual needs. She focuses on medication management for a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
